What is the difference between an easy access savings account and a fixed term savings account?
An Easy Access Savings Account allows you to deposit and withdraw money at any time, while still earning interest on your balance. In contrast, a Fixed Term Savings Account usually offers higher interest rates but requires you to keep your money locked away for a set period of time, during which you cannot withdraw it without losing your earned interest.
My Community Finance works with credit unions to offer both Easy Access Savings Accounts as well as Fixed Term Savings Accounts, at competitive rates.
