Frequently Asked Questions

Why was my loan application rejected?

All loan applications are subject to creditworthiness and affordability checks. We are unable to provide specific details on why one of the credit unions we work with declined your application.

 It may be because:

•    You do not meet the lending criteria of the credit unions we work with
•    They cannot confirm the accuracy of the information you gave when you applied
•    Your information has changed since you applied

You can get a copy of your credit report and check if there are any errors, by requesting a copy of your report for free from TransUnion, Experian or Equifax

You can understand more about how credit reference agencies collect and use your information here: Credit Reference Agency Information Notice (CRAIN).
